Bird Ross and Tom Loeser were invited to participate in the revitalizing of an older downtown department store into the new Madison Children’s Museum. They chose to design and build the Museum’s reception desk, a destination for ticket buying and play, offering rewards for the curious. This NEA funded project gave Bird and Tom the opportunity to explore kinetic and interactive fixtures and to work with a variety of repurposed materials.
